PANJIM: Sharda Mandir High School, Miramar defeated Mushtifund High School, Cujira–Bambolim by a wicket to emerge as champs of the U-14 Tiswadi inter-school President Trophy cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association, at SAG ground,Campal.
Mushtifund HS batted first and scored 182 runs in 34.5 overs as Saket Kapileshwari hammered 87 runs. For Sharada Mandir, Smit Dalvi was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets.
In reply, Sharada Mandir achieved the target in the last over scoring 184 for 9 with a ball and a wicket to spare. Smit Dalvi also excelled with the bat for Sharada Mandir and scored an unbeaten 60 runs.
