SINQUERIM: Food & Beverage Department of the Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa won the inter-department T-10 cricket tournament after defeating the Food Production Department by 8 wickets, organised by Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa at the Aguada Helipad, Sinquerim, recently.
Food & Beverage Department won the toss and elected to field. The Food Production team scored 99 runs after losing all wickets. Food & Beverage scored 100 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Individual prizes: Man-of-the-match, Shantiraj Sawant (Food & Beverage), Best bowler: Daniel Lobo (Food & Beverage) and Best batsman; Rahul Sawant ( Food Production).
Anmol Ahluwalia, General Manager of Taj North Goa, and Albert Rebello, General Manager, Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa were the chief guests on and gave away the winner’s trophy and other prizes.
