CURCHOREM: South Goa MP Adv. Narendra Sawaikar laid the foundation stone for the development of school ground under MPLAD scheme, at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Convent Primary School, Curchorem on Tuesday.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone, Sawaikar said that the play ground with lawn would be developed under MP scheme by spending around Rs 20 lakhs on 3370 sq meters land and would be completed within six months.
“Another play ground and a community hall has been sanctioned at Pongirval-Curchorem which is estimated Rs.60 lakhs,” informed Sawaikar and said that MP fund has been used to provide computers and other necessities to the students community.
Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral, Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council Chairperson Felix Fernandes, Councillors and Headmistress Sr. Adelin Fernandes were present among others.
