MARGAO: A four-goal blitz from Naveen Gautam helped Raia Football Club score a resounding 6-0 win over Sirvodem Sports Club in the Goa Football Association U-14 League match played at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda, on Saturday.
The winners led 3-0 at the break. Naveen Gautam scored the team’s first in the 14th minute and Deep Paswan added the second on the 28th minute.
Raia FC dominated the play and gave no chance to their opponents to get back into the game.
Josslan Fernandes netted the third in the 33rd minute.
In the second half, it was all about Naveen as the lad scored three more goals in the span of nine minutes thus registering his hat-trick.
In another match at Pilar ground, Murphy Fernandes netted a fine hat-trick to guide Don Bosco Oratory Panjim to a 4-1 win over Fr Agnel Youth.
There was no score at the break.
However, after playing a balanced football in the first session, Manohar Mestry gave Fr Agnel the lead in the 55th minute but DBO came back strongly and netted four.
Murphy contributed with three while Saish Amonkar was the other goal scorer.
