PANJIM: The Goa Football Development Council congratulated the technical staff and players of GFDC Residential Academy after Churchill Bros-GFDC played out a 1-1 draw in the second leg play-off match, at Utorda ground, Margao, recently.
The Churchill Bros squad comprises of most of its players from the GFDC Residential Academy who stamped their authority to emerge state champions in the AIFF U-15 Youth League in Goa by qualifying for the All-India level.
GFDC Technical In-charge, Derryl D’Souza played an instrumental role in polishing the skills of the youngsters along with the coach. Chairman of GFDC, Dr. Rufino Monteiro was thrilled with the performance of his grassroots development boys and wishes them good luck in the National League.
Member Secretary of GFDC, Alexio Da Costa also congratulated the players for their outstanding performance.
