They won the match against Wolvertan Cricket Club and Blodlow Village Cricket Club in England. They also continued their good performance in the Netherlands, where they got the better of Friends Cricket Club, Amsterdam.
There was no stopping for the Goan side in Belgium as they overpowered Royal Brussels Cricket Club. In the last match against 12 Stars Cricket Club, Brussels, Goa veterans had to settle for a draw due to wet weather conditions.
Dr Venktesh Nevgi was a consistent scorer in all the matches with three half centuries and was also the highest scorer on the tour. Paul Fernandes was the most successful bowler. Sandeep Dalal, Vinod Dhamasker, Abhijit Sawant, Mahendra Naik showed all round performances. C Ashok, lead the team.
Rajesh Naik, former Goa Ranji player also played one match and put up a creditable performance. They returned to the State in the first week of June.
