At lemon break, Sporting Club of Davorlim were leading 2-1.
Davorlim scored the first goal in the 13th minute after Agnelo Colaco’s powerful grounder crushed into the nylons of United Club of Nerul with an assist from Mellon Colaco.
But United Club of Nerul equalised immediately in the 18th minute when Sanket Jatkar’s downward header landed into the nets of Davorlim off a Rajat Chopdekar’s cross.
Before the end of first half, Davorlim doubled the lead in the 21st minute after Melcom Colaco’s volleyball type placement entered into the nylons off a pass by Agnelo Colaco.
Nerul tried to equalise in 25th minute but Jennifer Clemento shot wide.
Post resumption, Davorlim increased the tally in the 48th minute when Perryson Rebello’s floater kissed the inside of crosspiece to land the ball into the nylons. Brian Fernandes assisted Perryson.
With the score 3-1, confident Davorlim started attacking the rival citadel and scored more two goals in quick succession through Bonny Niasso and Agnelo, who completed his brace. Micky Furtado also played a role in Bonny’s efforts.
