Learn to swim at Peddem
PANJIM (HSD) – The Sports Authority of Goa will conduct its 2nd summer vacation ‘learn to swim classes’ from April 27 to May 16 at Peddem swimming pool complex, Mapusa. Morning session: 7 to 8 a.m (gents/children), 8 to 9 a.m (ladies/children), 9 to 10 a.m (children). Frank Pires soccer at Siridao
PANJIM (HSD) – The All-Goa inter-village football tournament in memory of Frank Pires organised by Siridao Sports Club will be held on April 25, near church ground, Siridao. PANJIM (HSD) – The 2nd All-Goa Mount Carmel festival volleyball tournament organised by St Cruz Gymkhana, Ponda will be held from April 26 to May 2 at municipality court, Ponda. Salgaocar veterans soccer
MARGAO (HC) –Holders Salgaocar Veterans will cross swords with Verna Veterans in the inaugural match of 10th All-Goa Veterans Salgaocar memorial football tournament organised by Prime Sports, Benaulim at Nagoa panchayat ground, on April 24.
Bardez Veterans, Customs and Central Excise, Benaulim Veterans, Margao Veterans, United Citizens Fatorda and Navelim Veterans will be participating.
The U-16 tournament will also be conducted simultaneously with Salgoacar SC, Dempo SC, Orlim SC and Wilred Leisure, fighting for top honours.
Nagoa Sarpanch Domingos Dias will be the chief guest for the inaugural match while Caitu D’Silva will be the guest of honour.
