PANJIM: Goa University won the runners-up position at West Zone inter-university football (women) championship on better goal average. Laxmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior won the first place. Nagpur University finished third and Pune University fourth.

In the last league match, LNUPE defeated Nagpur University 2-0 and Goa University beat Pune University 2-0.
