PANJIM: Over four hundred boys and girls from the age group of six to 16 participated in Goa Football Development Council’s (GFDC) summer camps around six places in Goa. The camps were held at Don Bosco Oratory, Loutolim; Agnel Ashram, Verna; Saligao Sporting Club; Yuva-Mala; Socorro Socio Art and Cultural Association, Porvorim and Devikrishna Sports Club, Marcel.
The two month long summer camps started by GFDC were not time restricted. Camps once conducted, can go on to become GFDC’s associate centres, depending on the availability of training grounds, trainees and coaches.
GFDC utilized twelve of their coaches which focused fun-filled training sessions.
