CURCHOREM: Government High School, Morpila, Quepem claimed the State championship in Kho-Kho under-17 boys and girls, organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Campal ground, on recently.
The under-17 boys of Government HS, Morpila won by seven points as they defeated Government High School,Hankhane.
The girl’s under-17 team of Government HS, Morpila won by two points against Ideal English High School, Palye in Pednem.
The under-14 boys team of Government HS, Morpilawon by seven points and girls by 17 points by defeating boys and the girl’s team of Government High School, Hankhane respectively.
Earlier at the district level, under-17 boys team of Government HS, Morpila defeated Government High School, Vidhyanagar, Margao and girls team defeated Fatima Convent, Margao.
In the under-14 category, the boys team defeated Balaram HS, Canacona while the girls team defeated Government HS, Gandogrim in Canacona.
