Govt HS Sanquelim for Delhi

Sesa Football Academy’s junior assistant coach, Ajay Acharya, will accompany Government HS, Sanquelim’s U-17 team as they challenge this year’s Subroto Mukerjee National level football tournament in New Delhi. The team is set to leave on November 16.
“I am delighted to be travelling with the team, as the tournament has a very prestigious history,” stated Ajay.
Nine players from the Sanquelim team are currently with Sesa football junior team, which is coached by Agostinho Dias, with Ajay assisting him. Ajay was present for the finals of the taluka and State level matches and it was only natural that he would be asked to join the team.
“I let the players play a comfortable game and it seems to produce results,” remarked Ajay.
The players had a short break from practice to answer their exams but are now back in full swing training and with Ajay holding the reins, success is set to follow.
