GSPL semis postponed

PANJIM: The Goa Sevens Premier League semi-final clash between SCC Cavelossim and Guardian Angel SC has been postponed due to heavy rains and is scheduled to be played on Saturday at SAG ground, Fatorda, at 8p.m.

PANJIM: The Goa Sevens Premier League semi-final clash between SCC Cavelossim and Guardian Angel SC has been postponed due to heavy rains and is scheduled to be played on Saturday at SAG ground, Fatorda, at 8p.m.
“The match (first semi-finals) was called-off due to unexpected showers on Friday” reads a press release.
Thousands of spectators had to return back home without a single minute being played as the unexpected showers and thunderstorm took centre stage at Fatorda.
The second semi-final between Churchill Brothers Football Club and Sporting Clube de Goa which was scheduled to be played on May 13 has been postponed to May 14.
The finals has also been moved ahead and will be played on May 15.
