CURCHOREM: Hosts Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (IHMCT), Curchorem, emerged victorious in the IDS Futsal Championship 2025 defeating Agnel Polytechnic, Verna, with a convincing 3-0 win in the final played at the D’Costa Sports Arena, Quepem, recently.
The tournament organised by IHMCT in association with the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), featured six teams from various polytechnic institutes competing in a league format.
Guardian Angel IHMCT showcased remarkable teamwork, skill and strategy throughout the tournament. In the final, they dominated the game, securing a decisive win over Agnel Polytechnic, Verna, who finished as runners-up.
The IDS Futsal Championship 2025 not only provided a platform for young athletes to display their talent but also emphasised teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.
