SERAULIM: Guirdolim Club got the better of Varca SC 2-0 to lift the Village Panchayat Seraulim Cup, at Seraulim ground, on Sunday.
Both the teams played fast attacking football with action at both the ends.
Gurdolim took full control over the entire match and in the 38th minute Guirdolim opened the score through Moises D’sa and added a second to their tally through Irfan Yadawad in the 49th minute.
The winners were awarded Rs 35,000 while the runners up received Rs 25,000 plus trophies.
GFA President Churchill Alemao was the chief guest.
Nelly Rodrigues, Member Zilla Panchayat South Goa was the guest of honour and gave away the prizes in the presence of Domnic Fernandez, Sarpanch VP Seraulim,Vijay Fernandez Dy Sarpanch and other dignitaries and club officials.
