MAPUSA: Holy Cross Sports Club, Arambol entered the semi-finals of the Mandrem Boys Soccer Cup with an easy 4-1 victory over Milagres SC organized by Dunes SC at Mandrem ground, on Saturday.
At half-time, Holy Cross SC led by a 2-1 advantage.
Lester Dias put Holy Cross SC into the lead, tapping home the ball from close range, while minutes later Rohan Naik doubled the lead in similar style.
Milagres SC managed to reduce the margin minutes before going into the breather when Prashant Naik’s long range effort crashed into the back of the Holy Cross SC goal.
Changing ends, Holy Cross SC fired in two quick goals through Rohit Parsekar to round off the score tally to 4-1.
