Holy Cross to meet YSC

Holy Cross, Ponda played their hearts out to defeat Ponda Footballers 5-2 via the tie-breaker to enter the finals of Ponda taluka football organised by United SC, Mardol.
Ponda Footballers drew first blood through Mario Fernandes but their joy was shortlived as Manuel Dias equalised through a spot-kick.
In the tie-breaker, Manuel, Peter, Rosario and Jose scored for Holy Cross while Peter scored for Ponda.
In another semi-final, YSC, Manke beat Silly Boys, Shiroda 2-0. Thomas and Manuel were the goal scorers.
