CUNCOLIM: Arnold Oliviera netted a hat-trick as Holy Spirit Institute, Margao thumped Regina Mundi High School, Vasco 4-0 to emerge South district winners in the U-14 boys Subroto Cup, at the Cuncolim ground on Saturday.
Arnold Olivera opened the floodgates in the15th minutes after he dribbled past three midfielder’s and made a strike trough the defenders all of sudden. Holy Spirit continued their dominance and two minutes later, Arnold gave finishing touches to the ball provided by Anish Gadar, 2-0.
In the 22nd minute, Myron Fernandes added his name to the score sheet to make it 3-0.
Changing over, the one-way traffic continued with Arnold securing his fifth consecutive hat-trick in the tournament off an assist by Nathan Rodrigues.
