Hospicio docs examined in Margao bomb blast case

Two Hospicio doctors were examined by the South Goa Sessions Court in the Margao bomb blast case on Wednesday.
Dr Dalvi and Dr Borkar, who had attended to injured Malgonda Patil and Yogesh Patil at the Hospicio hospital, were examined by the prosecution in support of its case.
The prosecution will examine the police inspector of Margao police station, PI Santosh Desai, besides another witness in connection with the case.
Sources in the know informed that the court witnessed some anxious moments when the defense sough to give a traditional religions “mall” to the accused persons with the permission of the court.
However, Special Public prosecutor, S B Faria asked the police officer to find out the contents in the plastic bay and it was later found that a pamphlet was also found inside. While the defense contended that the pamphlet contained a prayer, the prosecution asked the Judge to only allow the religious “mall” to be given to the accused persons.
