PANJIM: Immaculate Conception High School got the better of St Xavier’s High School 2-0 in the Next Gen League 1.0 – U-14 girls 9-a-side inter-school football league – organised by The King’s Sports Academy to promote football development at school level, at the King’s School artificial turf ground, Sao Joao de Areal, on Thursday.
Eloisha Oliveira and Richa Kumari scored for Immaculate Conception High School. In the U-12 mixed boys and girls 7-a-side inter-school football league,
St Anthony’s High School won against The King’s School 6-1.
Goal scorers were Vaydan Pires, Bekrant Minj, Krishna Sharma, Ayan Lattewale, Soham Gaonkar, Yuvraj Gaonkar for St Anthony’s High School while Yohan Almeida netted for The King’s School.
St Pius X Convent High School won against Auxilium High School 3-2. Jovison Braganza, Messi Fernandes and Welsh Fernandes scored for St Pius X Convent High School while Nasri Bepari and Austin Fernandes netted for Auxilium High School.
