Institute of Instruction, Panjim, beat Rosary High School, Mira Mar by a single run in all-Goa Dilip Sardessai memorial Under-16 inter-school cricket tournament at DIET grounds, Porvorim on Monday.
Institute of Instruction won the toss and elected to bat. They were 107 for 8 in 20 overs. (Mahesh Isran 31, Dinesh Talwa 19, Yeshwant Kholkar 10. Nilkant  Karapurkar 5-23, Naresh Kankonkar 1-22, Shubam Wagdhare 1-18, Swapnil Bhinge 1-12).
Rosary 106 in 20 overs (Manish Kumar 20, Nilkant Karapurkar 38. Sham Harijan 2-11, Santosh Kholkar 1-26, Sunil Kashyap 1-16, Chetan Venuskar 1-8).
In the other match, Progress High School, Panjim beat Don Bosco High School, Panjim by seven wickets.
Don Bosco won the toss and elected to bat. They were 73 all out with Deepak Yadav contributing 28 and Sidhart Telgiri 8. Mayuresh Chari 2-17, Tukaram Mahale 2-15, Sunny Saini 4-8, Baleshwar Nishad 1-17.
Progress 74 in 13.4 overs (Mayuresh Chari 28 not out, Baleshwar Nishad 10. Deepak Yadav 1-19, Niraj Yadav 1-19, Tabrez Shaikh 1-8).
The Tiswadi finals will be played on January 14.
