Kajol Vernekar, a student of Manovikas English Medium School, Margao secured a bronze medal in the shot put U-14 girls category at 22nd All-India inter-zonal athletic championship at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
Kajol hurled the shot put to a distance of 8.47 meters.
Meanwhile, her coach Awadesh Kumar attached to SAG congratulated Kajol for her outstanding performance.
