Laxminarain Cricket Club and Kirti Sports Club moved into the second round of seasonball cricket tournament, organised by Alankar Club of Dudhgad-Sanvordem, at SAG ground, Curchorem.
In the inaugural match, Laxminarain defeated Siddharud Gymkhana by 118 runs, while Kirti routed out Sahyadri Club by 68 runs.
Scoreboard: Laxminarain CC: 173 for 8 in 20 overs. Umesh Naik 49, Someshwar Advaipalkar 32, Vandesh Gawde 35, Dinesh Gaonkar 19.Vishal 3-25, Sagar, Ramkrishna and Pravin one each.
Siddharud Gym: 55 all out in 10.5 overs. Vishal Raut 20 not out, Sandip Gaonkar 5-20, Dilesh Gaonkar 3-15.
Kirti SC: 145 for 6 Jaganniwas Patil 54 not out, Sudin Prabhu 38 not out. Manguesh 2-37, Stanley, Vithal and Subramaniyam one each.
Sahyadri Club: 77 all out in 11.5 overs. Manguesh 27. Santosh Gaonkar 1-4, Swapnil, Yogesh and Jaganniwas one each.
