PANJIM: Little Flower of Jesus High School, Calangute defeated Rosary High School, Dona Paula 3-2 via the tie-breaker to win the one-day North Goa GFA girls U-14 football tournament at Poriat ground, Calangute.
The trophies were given away by Lavino Rebello, GFA vice-president in the presence of Alberto Colaco, GFA general secretary and other GFA members.
Earlier, Our Lady of Rosary, Dona Paula beat Holy Cross, Siolim 1-0, Little Flower, Calangute beat St.Michael Vagator 3-0, Chubby Cheeks, Porvorim beat St. Xavier’s, Moira 1-0.
In the semi-finals, Our Lady of Rosary, Dona Paula beat Chubby Cheeks, Porvorim 1-0 and Little Flower, Calangute got a bye into the final.
