PANJIM: Maina SC, Curtorim registered an easy 4-0 win over Ambelim SC in the 11th London Trophy, organised by Goa Velha Sports Club, at Goa Velha ground, on Monday.
Jeliston Pereira opened the scoring for Maina SC, latching to a pass from Nelson, to beat Benny DSilva in the Ambelim goal.
At the other end, Arvind Fernandes squared the ball for Ralpf Ferandes, who shot over the Maina SC bar.
Welson Fernandes put Main further ahead beating Benny again from close range.
Joshley Gomes made it 3-0 for Maina after dribling past a host of Ambelim defenders and blasted the ball in Ambelim roof top. At half time Main led 3-0.
Samson Fernandes of Ambelim after a solo run shot the ball straight at the rival keeper Christo Hilario, who easily collected the ball.
Ambelim on an attacking spree had Samson Simoes andAnthony Barretto missing from close.
Niall Cardozo was unlucky as his shot grazed the Maina upright amd went out of the play.
