PANJIM: Manjushri Raut is poised for a triple crown as she moved into the U-15, U-17 and U-19 Girl’s singles final at the SAG State Ranking Badminton tournament, organized by Goa Badminton Association in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa, at Indoor Stadium, Campal, on Monday. Anjana Kumari is headed for a double crown as she entered the final in the Girl’s U-17 and Ladies singles categories.
Anar Singbal, Emilia Silveira, Yasmin Sayed, Lydia Barretto and Arshia Gautam are the other players who made it into the final in the Girl’s/ Ladies singles.
Meanwhile, Aashrun Gautam stunned Sanath Kamat to move into his maiden U-19 Boy’s final where he will meet top seed Tejan Fallary.
The Men’s final will be contested between the two top seeds, Parteek Mahajan and Floyd Araujo.
