PANJIM: Manoj Naik from Siridao emerged the fastest at the 43rd all-Goa cycle race, organized by Guirdolim Club, recently.
The race covered a distance of 34km with Manoj finishing the course in 43 minuets and 30 seconds.
Antonio Fernandes from Cansaulim secured the second spot after finishing 10 seconds behind Manoj. Minguel Vaz came in the third position.
Sunny Cardoz of Guirdolim was the chief guest and Pandharinath Naik was the guest of honour. Manoj received Rs 5,000 while Antonio was awarded Rs 4,000 and Minguel had to settle for Rs 3,000. In all, 25 cyclists participated.
