PANJIM: MES College, Zuarinagar eased past Architecture College, Altinho with a 12-0 win in the Goa University Football Championship for Men, organised by Goa University and played at Rosary ground, on Friday.
Saeeah Halankar scored four while Sagar Kuvarapa, John Manonappa and Shelwin Fernandes scored a brace each. Albino Michael and Thinlay Sangpo netted a goal each.
Government College, Pernem edged past Vidya Prabodhini College, Porvorim 3-2 via the tie-breaker.
Nehal Parsekar scored in 14 min for Pernem while Kunal Kalangute equalised in 57 min.
At Goa University ground, Post Graduates, Goa University squeezed past Don Bosco College, Panjim 5-4 via the tie-breaker.
The match ended goalless at regular time.
Government College, Sanquelim beat Dhempe College, Miramar 1-0, Vighnesh Shetgaonkar scored the all important goal for Sanquelim.
D M’s College, Assagao beat Agnel Institute of Tech. & Design, Assagao 1-0. Sairaj Naik was the scorer.
