CANACONA: Micky Boyz lifted the 3rd All-Goa Cocktails and Dreams Trophy defeating Carmona Boys 4-3 in the finals of the football tournament at SAG ground, Agonda, here, Wednesday. The score was 1-1 at full time.
Micky Boyz pumped in three goals past Carmona Boys goalkeeper Mohamed against only two successful penalty shots from Carmona Boys.

Carmona Boys took the lead through Raymond. However, their joy was short-lived when Oilleah of Micky Boyz leveled the scores with a scorching header.
The second half proved to be a dull affair in the wet outfield with players mostly slipping, but Micky Boyz goalkeeper Rosvan was a treat to watch, saving as many as three sure goals.
It was again best goalkeeper of the tournament Rosvan who saved two penalty shots, while a third raced wide off the goalmouth. Carmona’s goalkeeper Mohamed pulled off a spectacular save in the penalty shoot-out while one of Micky Boyz’s penalty try went sailing over the crossbar.
Micky Boyz received Rs 50,000 while Carmona Boys had to settle for Rs 30,000.

Guest of honour Ajay Bhagat, Canacona Municipal Chairperson and Fr Andrew Rebello (parish priest of Chaudi church) gave away the prizes in the presence of Hemant Gracias, Sandesh Gaonkar, Shamsunder Dessai, Simon Rebello, social worker Dhiraj Naik Gaunkar, Sapnesh Dessai and others.
Earlier, Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar kicked off the finals.
