CHINCHINIM: Monti Veterans defeated Ponda Veterans 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Chinchinim Pick-Up and Rickshaw Owners cum Drivers Association’s veterans football tournament, played at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim, on Sunday.
Monte Benaulim scored through Mhahamed Bepari in the 40th min and 45 min. Ponda scored in the 39min thorugh Agnelo Fonceca.
