MARGAO: Mother of Mercy High School, Vasco beat Bhatikar Model High School, Margao by seven wickets to emerge champs in 13th Mukund Trikkanad memorial inter- school cricket tournament organised by Margao Cricket Club at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Stadium, here.
Bhatikar Model, batting first, manages only 89 runs. Mother of Mercy scored the required runs in just 19 overs with 7 wickets in hand.
Chairman of Batikar Model Education Society R. S. Kamat was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of MCC president Rajesh Naik. Secretary Apoorav Bhembre welcomed. Vinod Dhamaskar propsedthe vote of thanks.
