AMBORA-CAMORLIM: Murida Fatorda Veterans edged past Chinchinim Veterans 2-1 to move into the semi-finals of the Excel Rovers, Lotoulim, at Camorlim panchayat ground, on Sunday.
Chinchinim’s Inacio Cardozo was the star-of-the-match with his passes and shooting power. Just in the third minute itself, Chinchinim’s Inacio Cardozo took a long ranger but failed to pop up into Murida Fatorda veterans net. Later in the tenth minute, Inacio’s took a power backed shot but was denied by Murida Fatorda veterans cross bar.
Later, Francis Colaco netted a brace for Murida Fatorda Veterans in the 12th and 26th minutes while Domingos Costa pulled a goal back for Chinchinim Veterans in the 64th minute.
