CHANDOR: Navelim Sporting Club defeated St Rock Youth Club, Majorda 1-0 to enter the semi-finals of the 13th All Goa Guirdolim Panchayat Cup football tournament, at Chandor Church grounds, on Sunday.
Avlon Gomes scored the only goal of the match in the first minute taking advantage of a defensive lapse from their opposition.
In the second half, St Rock went all guns blazing in search of the equaliser, but they simply couldn’t beat the rival defence.
