BENAULIM: Navelim Villagers Union got the better of CRC Chinchinim 9-8 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the 21st Dando Boys Cup, at St John the Baptist ground, Benaulim, on Saturday.
Velison Fernandes and Nickson Rebello netted a goal each for CRC Chinchinim in the 5th and15th minute respectively. In the second half Navelim villagers Union came from behind to score two quick goals through Aulon Gomes and Alvito Colaco in the 48th and 56th minutes respectively.
In the resultant tie-breaker Navelim Villagers Union proved to be better shooters.
