BETALBATIM: Navelim Villagers Union defeated Don Bosco oratory Fatorda 1-0 to move into the semi-finals of the Late Joao Francisco Pacheco Memorial football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sports Club, at Betalbatim Sports Complex, on Friday.

Avlon Gomes of Navelim Villagers, header missed the nets of Don Bosco in the 16th minute.

Clinton Niasso scored the match winner for Navelim Villagers with his grounder in the 34th minute.

Don Bosco tried to comeback in the game but the strikers lacked sharpness.

Navelim villagers union will meet Guardian Angel SC in the semi-final on August 13.
