PANJIM: Noel Noronha topped the 40+ event at the recently concluded Uday Memorial Veterans Table Tennis tournament at Indoor Stadium, Campal, here.
Deepak Gopani finished as runner-up.
In the 50+ category Arun Naik emerged winner and Prakash Alphonso as runner-up.
In the 60+ event, Anthony Gomes got the better of Vishnu Kolwalkar in the final.
Gaurish Dhond, Director of Hotel Manoshanti was the chief guest and Vero Nunes was the guest of honour.
Earlier, Ashok Menon, Director of Fire Services inaugurated the tournanment. Family of late Uday Divekar attended the function. Also present were Chaitanya Tarkar, President of GVTTA and Rajendra Naik.
