PANJIM: Our Lady of Health, Cuncolim scored a solitary goal victory over Our Lady of Snow’s High School, Raia in the inaugural match of SVD Seminary under-15 football tournament, organized by SVD Seminary at SVD ground, Raia, Saturday.
The all-important goal was scored in the first half.
Before the match, tributes were paid to the late Fr Peter Verhaelen, who established the SVDs in Goa.
A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament and the finals are slated for November 16.
