VARCA: Pedda A blanked Reprovaddo A 3-1 to move into the semi-finals of the 2nd late Chelsea Memorial inter-ward football tournament organised by Varca United at Varca Sports Club ground, on Monday.
Reprovaddo netted the first goal in the 15th minute through Nash. Nine minutes later, Pedda equalised with a long ranger from Arron Baretto.
In the second half, Jobun scored with a neat placement shot for Pedda to make it 2-1. Arron scored for Pedda to read the final score as 3-1. Nelu played well for Reprovaddo. Arron bagged the man-of-the-match award.
