VARCA: Pedda B thumped Reprovaddo B 6-2 to move into the semi-finals of the 2nd late Chelsea Memorial inter-ward football tournament organised by Varca United, at Varca Sports Club ground, on Friday.
Reprovaddo scored the first goal of the match through Jason in the tenth minute but their joy was short-lived as Pedda equalised through Elton in the 15th minute to level the score.
After the change of ends, Reprovaddo scored through Usman’s free-kick in the 32nd minute.
It was Yunal of Pedda who scored 4 goals in the 36th, 38th, 40th and 43rd minute as the final score read 6-2.
Yunal of Pedda bagged the man-of-the-match award.
