RAIA: Peddem Bomm SC defeated Don Bosco Oratory of Fatorda 4-0 to book their place in the semi-finals of 50th Custodio memorial inter-village football tournament at Raia ground, Sunday. They led 2-0 at the break.
Peddem dominated and opened the scoring in the 10th minute as a 30-yard shot from Rohan Kambli crashed into DBO’s net. Later, Maruti Harijan doubled the lead as he beat the entire DBO’s defense and the helpless goalkeeper.
In the second session, Pratik Dhargalkar scored two more goals for Peddem. He was declared the man-of-the match.
