FATORDA: Holy Spirit Institute High School, Margao thrashed St Rita’s High School, Maina-Curtorim 5-0 to move into the next round of the U-14 Subroto Mukherjee football tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Artificial Turf Fatorda, on Thursday.
Upcoming young talented Yuvraj Chodankar of Holy Spirit Institute delighted the spectators with his dribbling skills also catching the eye of the scouts who were present for the game.
It was a one-sided affair as Yuvraj went out all guns blazing against Maina as he scored four goals and played a role in the fifth goal. Yuvraj opened the account in the 7th minute and doubled the tally in the 11th minute. He then set up Sharmad Kurade in the 17th minute. The striker made it difficult for the opponents with his pace and timely runs in the territory. In the 25th minute, Yuvraj completed his hat-trick and added the fourth in the 37th minute.
