PANJIM: Don Bosco Farm High School Sulcorna won the U-17 boys Quepem taluka badminton tournament, defeating Pope John XXIII High School Quepem in final, held at Quepem Sports Complex, Borimoll, recently.
Don Bosco’s Velentine Rodrigues won a thrilling match against Aldrich Barreto with 21-12, 17-21 and 21-15 win. In the second round, Don Bosco’s Frajas Costa easily got the better of opposition’s Braino Barnewal 21-5, 21-6.
In the third place battle, Sarvodaya Education Society High School defeated Holy Cross Institute 2-0.
