MAPUSA: Chapora Yuvak Sangh got the better off Xetrapal Sports Club 3-1 in the Milagres Soccer Cup, organised by Milagres Sports Club and played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Thursday.
Chapora took the lead in the 5th minute when Faheez Mahammad guided in Nitesh Salgaonkar’s cross, 1-0. Xetrapal didn’t waste much time and managed to restore parity in the 8th minute through Sandesh Vaigankar, 1-1.
Crossing over Faheez netted his brace to give Chapora the lead while Samuel D’Souza made the issue safe when he gave finishing touches to Saprem Diukar’s cross, 3-1.
