TUEM: Pilerne Sports Club got the better of St Rock, Majorda, 2-1 to enter the quarterfinals of the FC Tuem Champions Trophy inter village football tournament, organised by FC Tuem in association with CAM group of Companies at DSYA ground, Tuem.

In the 13th minute, Aniket Naik of Pilerne SC scored a goal with a neat placement. In the 18th minute, St Rock’s Bevan De Melo’s powerful shot went just over the crossbar.
In the 29th minute, Leny Vas’s shot was saved by Pilerne keeper Kurpesh Badadkar.
In the 30th minute, this time Bevan D’Mello made no mistake to put the ball behind the rival’s net.
Post resumption, in the 41st minute, Josley Dias’ shot was once again stopped by the Pilerne keeper Kurpesh Badadkar.
In the 43rd minute, Aniket Naik of Pilerne scored his brace with a rasping shot which the St Rock keeper had no chance to save.
Oscar Braganza missed a golden opportunity to level the score in the dying minute of the match. Pilerne players Sidhant Naik was cautioned for a reckless tackle while Aniket Naik was shown yellow for delay in restart of play.
