MARGAO: Auda Viegas of NGO Bailancho Ekvott, late on Friday night filed a complaint alleging that three unknown persons kidnapped two youth, including a minor, from Quepem and took them to Rajbhag, Canacona, were the duo was subjected to torture and humiliation.
The Quepem police has registered offence of wrongful restrain, kidnapping, assault and abuse under the Juvenile Cruelty Justice Act, Information Act and Goa Children Act. In her complaint Viegas has alleged that the accused kidnapped the two youth and took them to Rajbhag where they removed their clothes and clicked snaps on mobile and circulated the same on social media, besides brutally assaulting the duo. PI Akre is investigating.
