QUEPEM: Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem won the Quepem Taluka U-14 chess championship, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Campal Panjim and was played at Sports Complex, Borimoll Quepem.
The New Educational Institute, Curchorem won the second place while Sarvodaya Edu Soc High school, Curchorem settled for third place.
The winning teams is seen with their Physical Education teacher, Taluka sports organiser, APEO and chess official.
The winning team will represent Quepem Taluka at District level which will be played at PJN stadium, Fatorda.
