The High Court of Bombay at Goa reserved its order on the Goa government’s plea to extend the time to complete the process of the Panchayat elections for an extra 30 days. On Wednesday, the State government filed a petition before the High Court of Bombay at Goa urging it to grant time till September 12 to complete the process for holding village panchayat elections, citing the upcoming month-long assembly session.
