The District Magistrate of North Goa has imposed temporary restrictions on the movement of heavy commercial vehicles on NH-66 on August 25, 2026, in view of VIP movement in the state.
As per the notification, heavy commercial vehicles will be restricted on the stretch from Colvale to the Border Check Post at Patradevi between 8 am and 3 pm. The VIP carcade will travel from Mopa Airport to Hutatma Smruti Smarak at Patradevi.

During the movement of the VIP carcade, vehicles will be required to park along the side of NH-66 from Karaswada to Kaloji Wines in Dhargal. The restrictions have been issued to ensure unobstructed passage and orderly parking.
