Students of Goa College of Engineering (GEC), Farmagudi, have opposed the decision to conduct regular classes on Saturdays, with many students boycotting classes on Saturday as a mark of protest.
The students had earlier submitted a petition bearing the signatures of more than 1,100 students to the college Registrar, urging the authorities to reconsider the decision.
