PY Nuvem, DBO Fatorda to clash in Custodio finals

Parish Youth, Nuvem routed Holiday Sports Club, Arpora 3-0 to move into the finals of 38th Custodio memorial football tournament, organised by Raia Sporting Club, at Raia panchayat ground, Raia on Sunday.
The winners led 1-0 at half time.
Parish Youth made their intentions clear from kick-off as Joe Colaco opened the account in the 1st minute with a brilliant goal. Spurred by the early success, Parish Youth launched repeated raids into the Holiday territory.
Holiday goalkeeper made a desperate save in the 8th minute as R Borges of Parish Youth sent a floater with the rival goalkeeper out of position. Fortunately, for Holiday the ball sailed over the cross-bar.
Changing over, Parish Youth hit the target in the 41st minute through Richard Colaco to increase the margin 2-0. Holiday did not give up hope and launched repeated attacks at the rival territory without success.
In the 50th minute Daniel Colaco struck a gleaming goal for Parish Youth.
Now, Parish Youth, Nuvem will clash with Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda in the finals on August 5.
